I know the Truth, So Don't Bother Me With Facts by Jeffrey Kluger, was published in "In time" on October 29,2010. Focused on believing people upon rumors and flat-out-lies.
According to the kluger, a march which was held in down town in Manhattan, says that "Humans have long been dupes, easily deceived by rumors and flat-out lies. Resarch study at Ohio state says that people tent to follow false easily.

According to professor R.kelly Garrett and Erik Nisbet, they will study people who believe rumor about the proposed Islamic cultural center. They want to check whether the will change their concept or not. If not than professor will try to convince the fact so that people who believe in rumors can go through it.

Professor Garret and Nisbet  face two difficulties they said that it is easy to change people belief through changing out look or performing strong response and even in best explanation only one by third people were willing to change their decision with keeping or focusing on their point of view.

In some case because of egoistic character people stick upon their words. They never try to know the facts. In journey of teaching people not to belief in rumors and flat-out lies, the investigators came up to studying on each people brain performance. specially working on prefrontal context and amygdala. which play an important role to solve the problem and fell certain emotion respectively.

The essay was really interesting. Base on my personal experience i agree with the authors point of view that people easily believe in rumor and flat-out lies. I am a girl from Nepal. Grown up in a Buddhist family. In my entire journey in my education level i learned that Buddha was born in Nepal in kaplivastu. But the news forecast in one of the India Chanel that Buddha was born in India makes me aggressive and disappointment. Actually it's not only me, we all Nepalese people are disappointed. I joined laguardia college, where i attend C.S.E. 099. I used a book "Opening the door" there the author mention that Buddha was born in India. which makes me shocked. how people believe in rumors. Beside investigating and research author easily believe in rumor which is not true. The authors make it clear that many people involves in lies.

The essay was most educational. I learned that rather then believing in rumors or flat-out-lies, we have to know the truth.Telling lies and starting rumor can cause trouble. It is best to be honest.
